Four days are necessary to prepare these delicious, chocolate-covered hazelnuts. Four days…and that’s not counting the months and years spent to maintain the hazel trees of the Balagne in Corsica, which give this very specific taste to the hazelnuts. And that’s not counting the weeks required to harvest and select them. This step is very delicate since the nuts are also very sought after by numerous animals because of their high nutritional values.
After the harvest comes the roasting step. Our master chocolatiers follow a meticulous savoir-faire to dose the milk chocolate coating. Finally, they apply a layer of varnish to give a shiny finish to our chocolate truffles.
